Inspira Financial is seeking a Lead Platform Software Engineer to own end‑to‑end development of consumer‑facing digital products. You will work across frontend and backend, collaborating with product and design leaders to deliver scalable, secure, high‑performing solutions.

The role emphasizes architectural leadership, cloud expertise, and a strong focus on developer experience within an Agile environment. Remote‑friendly with limited travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years in software or solution architecture roles.
• Strong knowledge of architecture principles, patterns, and frameworks.
• Experience with continuous delivery, cloud foundational patterns, observability, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test applications (APIs, web apps) per standards.
• Set short to medium term technical direction and plans.
• Peer‑review solution designs and related code.
• Package and support deployment of releases.
• Foster an inclusive environment and value diverse backgrounds.
• Collaborate on architecture decisions to meet scaling needs.
• Work with developers, product managers, and architects to plan and deliver apps.
• Assess opportunities for improvements and document rationale.
• Adhere to high‑quality development principles and on‑time delivery.
• Ensure security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability.
• Work in an Agile framework to improve developer experience and productivity.
• Stay current with technology trends and best practices.
• Define benchmarks, metrics, and quality measures.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
• Other duties as assigned.
