Ford Motor Company is hiring a Software Engineer within the Manufacturing Digital Engineering team in a hybrid role requiring on-site four days per week in Dearborn. You will design, build, and support APIs, platforms, and services across manufacturing tooling initiatives, partnering with global teams to ship high-quality software.

The role emphasizes Spring Boot/Java, Angular, and GCP, with a focus on scalable microservices, testing, and CI/CD.

Formación

• 3 years of software engineering experience developing front-end applications (Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript).
• 2 years of experience developing back-end REST APIs (Java, Spring Boot).
• Experience with document-based NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and version control practices.
• Experience with unit testing and code validation; clean-code principles.
• Familiarity with SonarQube, SonarLint, and GitHub Copilot to improve code quality.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and support APIs, platforms, and services as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions.
• Develop Spring Boot/Java APIs and microservices on Google Cloud Platform.
• Develop and maintain Angular web applications on GCP.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and microservices for scalable solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support performance and reliability.
• Deliver software using TDD, CI/CD, and engineering best practices.
• Partner with Product Managers/Designers to define solutions and deliver user stories.
