Job summary

FIS is seeking a senior software engineer to develop and architect complex applications across front-end and back-end platforms. The role involves coding, testing, and collaborating with business and technology teams to deliver client solutions.

The candidate should have 8+ years of experience, strong Java (JDK 17–25), Python or JavaScript, Spring Boot, RESTful services, AWS cloud experience, and proficiency with CI/CD pipelines. Hybrid/remote options may apply where eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/MIS or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Develop moderately to highly complex code across front-end and back-end platforms.
• Design, architect, and deliver complex program specifications for multi-project environments.
• Analyze, modify, and develop code with unit and integration testing.
• Perform testing, validation, and code review for complex changes.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers; drive coding standards and best practices.
