FIS in Milwaukee is seeking a Software Engineer to design, program, and enhance fintech applications using cutting-edge technology. You will translate client requirements into robust software, work with product managers and users, and contribute to agile delivery in a cross-functional team.

The role requires a bachelor’s in computer science or related field and 5+ years of JAVA/J2EE experience, with knowledge of Struts/Spring, Hibernate, EJB, Oracle, REST APIs, Docker, Maven and Git.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in computer engineering, computer science or related discipline.
5+ years of experience with JAVA/J2EE, Struts or Spring, Hibernate, EJB, Oracle, REST API, Docker, Maven, Git.
Banking/Payments domain experience is valuable.
Experience with end-to-end software development life cycles.

Responsibilities

Designing, programming, debugging and modifying software enhancements.
Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications.
Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.
Working with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams.
