Job summary

FIS is seeking an experienced software engineer to develop moderate to highly complex code across multiple platforms. Collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver client software solutions, focusing on architectures, data governance, PCI security, and cloud best practices.

The role involves leading code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and guiding architectural directions in distributed systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
8 years of progressive work experience in software development or related.
Experience across front-end and back-end languages and platforms.
Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful services, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Develop complex code across front-end and back-end languages for internal and external client software solutions.
Design and deliver complex program specifications with attention to ecosystems, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
Analyze, modify, and develop code with unit and integration testing; produce documentation.
Perform testing, validation, and code reviews for changes across distributed systems.
Mentor junior/mid-level engineers and lead code reviews; set coding standards.
