Chase, JPMorganChase's Consumer and Community Banking tech team, seeks a Senior Lead Software Engineer - Java/React/AWS/AI to drive secure, scalable technology products. You will guide teams, contribute to architecture, and advance AI-assisted engineering practices to accelerate delivery while maintaining strong security and reliability.

You will lead design evaluations, mentor engineers, and advocate firmwide software development lifecycle frameworks across multiple platforms and services.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience with Java, React, AWS, and scalable enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to business teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others' code.
• Drive AI-assisted engineering practices and governance across teams with measurable standards.
• Utilize SDLC tools to improve automation, testing, and release readiness.
• Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture and designs.
• Influence product design decisions and operational processes.
• Act as a subject matter expert across focus areas and promote best practices.
