Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a Lead Software Engineer - Python/React/AWS/AI to join the Consumer and Community Banking team. You will be a core technical contributor delivering trusted, scalable technology products in a secure environment.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficiency in Python, Java, React, AWS and AI.
Automation and continuous delivery methods.
SDLC lifecycle mastery.
Strong grasp of Agile, CI/CD, resiliency and security.

Responsibilities

Executes creative software solutions, design, development and troubleshooting.
Delivers secure production code and reviews code written by others.
Identifies ways to automate remediation to improve stability.
Leads evaluation sessions with vendors, startups and internal teams.
Leads communities of practice to promote new technologies.
Drives AI-assisted engineering adoption to improve code quality, speed and outcomes.
Applies SDLC tooling and AI-assisted development to boost automation.
