As a core technical contributor, you will design, develop, and operate software across multiple domains, mentor teammates, drive AI‑assisted engineering practices with secure coding standards, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure architecture resiliency and

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operations.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Scala.
• Strong AWS platform knowledge and security features.
• Extensive experience with Spark and big data analytics.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools with validation standards.
• Understanding of responsible AI in engineering workflows and secure data handling.
• Solid SDLC knowledge and agile practices including CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Deep knowledge of financial services IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute creative software solutions and troubleshoot complex problems.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review peers' code.
• Lead AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, speed, and reliability.
• Apply SDLC tools and automation to maximize value.
• Lead architecture evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams.
