Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in its Chief Technology Office to advance security, scalability, and reliability of market-leading technology products. You will contribute across the SDLC, champion AI-assisted development, and guide teams in adopting enterprise standards.

You will lead critical engineering work with strong emphasis on secure coding, incident analysis, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to drive architectural outcomes.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Proficient with AWS (EKS, ECS, Lambda, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, API Gateway, RDS).
• Demonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools with the ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting across complex problems.
• Develops secure high-quality production code, reviews and debugs code written by others.
• Drives AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes with standardized validation.
