Job summary

State Farm in the Atlanta area seeks a Lead Software Engineer to shape the future of enterprise IT support. You will lead delivery across a connected ecosystem including ServiceNow, Amazon Connect, chatbot and mobile applications, and will influence technical direction across teams and partners.

You’ll mentor engineers, drive design and quality, and advance AI-enabled automation and platform modernization while aligning priorities with business goals and user needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with ServiceNow or strong web application development.
• Experience building APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise support solutions across multiple platforms and teams.
• Drive technical design, code quality, and delivery practices (Agile/DevOps).
• Partner with architects, product stakeholders, and external partners to deliver integrated, user-centered solutions.
• Influence engineering standards and directions across cross-functional teams.
• Oversee reliability, observability, and operational support of platforms.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices in software development and collaboration.
