State Farm is expanding its AI-driven contact center capabilities with a hybrid role in the Atlanta area. You will design and deploy LLM-powered solutions, build robust APIs, and develop data pipelines that empower enterprise AI initiatives. You will work across cloud-native tools and guide teams in responsible AI practices.

The position emphasizes hands-on engineering, collaboration with product and security teams, and delivering scalable AI features in a regulated industry environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications, RAG pipelines, or agentic systems.
• Strong foundation in software engineering for enterprise-grade applications.
• Experience with cloud architecture (AWS preferred) and API development.
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript for API and AI integration development.
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration patterns and tool-use frameworks (function calling, MCP).
• Proficiency with AI governance, prompt engineering, and model evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Design & Deploy AI/GenAI Solutions - Architect and implement LLM-powered apps and agentic workflows.
• Build AI-Integrated APIs - Develop robust RESTful APIs serving AI applications and orchestration.
• Engineer Data & Analytics Pipelines - Create data pipelines for AI/ML readiness from enterprise sources.
• Build on Bedrock/AgentCore primitives - Use Runtime, Gateway, Memory, and Code Interpreter.
• Champion Responsible AI - Apply guardrails, evaluate outputs, ensure governance compliance.
• Drive Full Stack AI Applications - Build cloud-native apps with chat interfaces, dashboards, and automation.
• Implement DevSecOps for AI - Integrate AI workloads into CI/CD with secure coding and observability.
• Enhance User Experience - Create accessible, explainable AI interfaces.
• Document & Share Knowledge - Write docs and contribute to internal AI communities.
• Mentor & Lead - Provide technical guidance and code reviews.
