Job summary

State Farm is seeking a highly skilled AI/GenAI Engineer to join our hybrid team based near Tempe, AZ. You will design and deploy LLM-powered solutions, develop robust APIs, and build data pipelines that feed enterprise AI systems.

You will work with AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, and multi-agent orchestration, driving responsible AI and secure DevSecOps practices while delivering user-friendly AI interfaces and scalable dashboards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered apps and RAG pipelines.
• Strong software engineering for enterprise apps.
• Experience with cloud architecture (AWS preferred) and Git.
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI safety.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI/GenAI solutions using LLMs, agentic workflows, and RAG pipelines.
• Build AI-integrated APIs (REST, FastAPI) for orchestration and downstream use.
• Engineer data pipelines feeding AI/ML systems with governed data.
• Leverage Bedrock AgentCore primitives for streaming stateful agents.
• Champion Responsible AI with guardrails and governance.
• Drive full-stack AI apps including chat interfaces and dashboards.
• Implement DevSecOps and observability for model performance.
• Design user-friendly AI interfaces that are explainable.
• Document evaluations and contribute to internal AI communities.
• Mentor and lead to foster responsible AI innovation.
