Insight Global is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to support a client in Huntsville, AL. You will mentor junior engineers and drive design, development, testing, and maintenance of mission-critical software systems, with 50% leadership and 50% hands-on work.

The role emphasizes backend C/C++ development, embedded software, and hardware/software integration. Onsite 100% in Huntsville; ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required.

Qualificações

Insight Global is seeking Lead Software Engineer to support a client in Huntsville, AL. This individual will work provide technical mentorship a team to a team of junior engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support mission-critical systems and technical objectives. 50% of the work may involve technical leading and other half will consist of individual programs and execution.

This role is heavily focused on true backend, C/C++ programming and development. Also, seeking someone with embedded experience and hands on hardware/software experience. The engineer will play a key role in enhancing system capabilities, including expanding software-driven functionality that enables users to interact with and operate system components through external applications and interfaces. Responsibilities will include supporting new feature development, system integration efforts, code optimization, and modernization initiatives.

This role is 100% onsite and will require the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
