Job summary

ROI Services LLC in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Software Engineer to support our client in Huntsville. The role focuses on planning and delivering software development activities for mission-critical applications.

The successful candidate will have multiple years of experience with C/C++ and RTOS, and familiarity with MBSE and writing software to meet explicit requirements. This position requires the ability to work with cross-functional teams and maintain secure access.

Qualifications

• Experience with programming languages such as C, C++.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplined teams.
• Experience with full software life cycle development including SW design, architecture and integration & test.
• Has the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret and/or Top Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities.
• Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
• Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
• Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
• Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities.
