Job summary

Emerald Queen Casino seeks a Lead Soft Count Clerk to oversee the soft count room and staff in the supervisor’s absence. You will count and record drop boxes, supervise sorting of chips and currency, and ensure accurate posting of the Games summary sheet.

You will prepare cash and chips for transfer to the cage and handle other duties as assigned by the department manager. Starting wage is $24.43/hr increasing to $25.01/hr after 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• One year of prior soft count experience required.
• Six months of supervisory experience required.
• Ten-key experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the soft count room and staff in absence of Soft Count Supervisor.
• Perform count and accurate recording of drop boxes with adherence to dept. policies.
• Oversee sorting and counting of chips and currency in drop boxes and strapping of currency.
