Gold Rush Gaming is looking for a part-time Count Room Clerk to maintain the integrity of our cash operations. The role requires meticulous counting, secure handling of currency, and strict adherence to internal controls within a surveillance-monitored environment.

The ideal candidate will have cash-handling experience in a fast-paced setting, strong math and organizational skills, and the ability to pass a background check for state gaming licenses.

Qualifications

• Experience handling cash in a high-volume environment.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Must be 21 years or older; pass a background check and obtain any required gaming licenses.

Responsibilities

• Count and reconcile currency from VGTs and other revenue sources.
• Maintain detailed records of all count room transactions.
• Operate cash-counting equipment and ensure proper handling of assets.
• Verify accuracy of physical cash against system reports.
• Safeguard assets, ensure secure handling and transportation of currency.
• Report discrepancies and support audits or regulatory reviews as needed.
• Work flexible early morning or late-night shifts and weekends as required.
