Job summary

Golden Road Motor Inn DBA Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is seeking a Lead Count Team Technician to oversee and participate in the secure collection and counting of drop boxes from the gaming floor, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

The role provides leadership to the Count Team, supports accurate accounting of cash and assets, and serves as a key communications link between departments involved in the drop and count process, with responsibilities including

Qualifications

• Ability to lead and supervise a team in a high‑security environment.
• Strong communication skills across departments and shifts.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling and reconciliation.

• Willingness to train and mentor junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in slot drops and currency counts.
• Supervise and support Count Team members to ensure procedures and regulatory standards are followed.
• Coordinate and communicate with other departments involved in the drop and count process.
• Operate and oversee the use of counting equipment and computer systems.
• Perform data entry and basic reconciliation with a high level of accuracy.
• Accurately handle and account for large volumes of currency and other cash assets.
• Identify and report discrepancies or procedural issues to management.
• Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
