Job summary

Choctaw Casinos & Resorts is seeking a part-time Soft Count Clerk to work in the Money Room. You will count gaming monies, handle cash and chips, sort, wrap, and balance funds while keeping a secure and accurate log of all transactions.

This role requires 10-key by touch, strong math skills, and experience with large cash volumes. The position features a Thurs-Mon 6:00am–12:30pm shift with an hourly pay rate and weekly wage access option.

Responsibilities

• Count all casino gaming monies in the money room.
• Handle large volumes of cash and chips; cash must be counted, sorted, bundled, and recorded.
• Identify counterfeit bills and maintain money-room security.
• Wrap denominations after initial count and balance all monies.
• Enter data into computers and maintain accurate records.

Pay Rate: $15.00/ Hourly | Part-Time | Thurs- Mon 6:00am - 12:30pm

Job Purpose or Objective(s):

As the Soft Count Clerk, you will work within the Money Room to count all Casino gaming monies. You will report to the Soft Count Supervisors and Manager.

Primary Tasks

• You will handle large volumes of cash and chips.
• Cash must be counted, sorted, bundled, and recorded.
• Clean work areas as designated by management.
• Count and balance all monies.
• You will identify counterfeit bills.
• Individually wrap all denominations of monies after initial count.
• Compare all totals of monies.
• Use computers to enter, access or retrieve data.
• Maintain money-room security according to rules.
• Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
