Job summary

Emerald Queen Casino in Washington state is seeking a Lead Soft Count Clerk to oversee the soft count room and staff in the supervisor's absence. You will ensure precise counting and posting of drop boxes, and supervise currency and chip handling to support cage transfers.

Starting wage is $24.43/hr with a raise to $25.01/hr after a 90-day orientation. This full-time role provides employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Some college with emphasis in accounting or business management (preferred).
• One year of soft count experience required.
• Six months supervisory experience.
• Ten-key experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee soft count room operations in the absence of the supervisor.
• Count and accurately record drop boxes.
• Sort and count chips and currency in drop boxes.
• Prepare cash and chips for transfer to the cage.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
