Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc. is seeking a Foreperson for the 1st shift to oversee the safe, efficient operation of a production department, maintain housekeeping, and drive continuous improvement. You will coordinate with peers on opposite shifts, manage material availability, and ensure daily targets are met.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to engage and develop the team while upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production/operations to meet department goals.
• Ensure materials are available and inventory is monitored.
• Coordinate with scheduling to prioritize work centers and materials.
• Lead daily management board updates and continuous improvement efforts.
• Conduct safety and quality checks; ensure proper housekeeping and PPE compliance.
• Coach and develop employees; manage attendance and disciplinary actions.
