Job summary

Johnson Matthey in West Whiteland, PA, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead safe, compliant manufacturing operations on a 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM). You will coordinate staffing, schedules and resources to meet production, quality and on-time delivery targets while upholding security and inventory controls for in-process precious metal materials.

You will drive continuous improvement through Lean tools, mentor frontline teams, and partner with maintenance to improve equipment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience supervising teams within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to lead, motivate and coordinate shift-based teams effectively.
• Flexibility to train across shifts and work a 2nd shift schedule (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM).

Responsibilities

• Lead safe production operations and ensure compliance with site, corporate and regulatory safety standards.
• Coordinate staffing, schedules and resources to achieve production, quality and on-time delivery targets.
• Drive operational efficiency through Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain accountability for in-process precious metal materials, including security and inventory control.
• Support employee development through training, performance guidance and workforce planning.
• Collaborate with maintenance and leadership to improve equipment reliability, productivity and operational performance.
