Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc. is seeking a Foreperson to oversee the safe, efficient operation of a production department. You will ensure timely materials, maintain daily management boards, and lead continuous improvement efforts on the 2C shift (3:40pm–12:10am).

Responsibilities include coordinating with scheduling, coaching operators, managing timekeeping, and enforcing quality standards while ensuring a safe work environment and effective communication with peers and management.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and coaching abilities.
• Experience directing manufacturing teams in an industrial setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, efficient operation of assigned department to meet production goals.
• Coordinate with scheduling to prioritize work centers and materials.
• Maintain housekeeping, DMB boards, and daily communications.
• Lead Lean/Quality initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
• Verify product quality and manage non-conformances with containment.
• Coach operators, train staff, and manage attendance and disciplinary actions.
