Job summary

East Penn Manufacturing Company, Inc. is seeking a Foreperson to lead the 1st shift in our Berks County plant. You will ensure safe, efficient operation, maintain housekeeping, and drive daily production goals while coordinating with peers on opposite shifts.

You will coach operators, manage materials, monitor quality, and conduct Lean/Quality initiatives, with accountability for attendance, safety, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced battery manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Commitment to safety, housekeeping, and Lean/Quality principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1st shift to meet production goals and ensure safe operations.
• Ensure materials availability and monitor plant inventory.
• Coordinate with scheduling to prioritize work centers and materials.
• Maintain Daily Management Board (DMB) and participate in reviews.
• Promote continuous improvement using Lean/Quality tools.
• Verify non-conforming products and ensure proper disposition.
