Job summary

Johnson Matthey Plc is seeking a Production Supervisor for the West Whiteland, PA area. You will lead safe production operations, coordinate staffing and resources, and drive Lean improvements to meet quality and on-time delivery targets.

The role requires supervisory experience in manufacturing, an educational background in engineering or related fields is advantageous, and flexibility for a 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM) is offered with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Engineering/Technical qualification is advantageous
• Experience supervising teams in manufacturing/production environment preferred
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to lead and coordinate shift-based teams across a 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Lead safe production operations and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Coordinate staffing, schedules and resources to meet targets
• Drive operational efficiency through Lean principles and continuous improvement
• Maintain accountability for in-process materials and inventory controls
• Support employee development through training and performance guidance
• Collaborate with maintenance and leadership teams to improve equipment reliability and performance
