Job summary

Northwest Bank in Warren is seeking a Small Business Loan Specialty Origination & Servicing Manager to lead the servicing team. You will oversee daily operations, ensure data integrity, and maintain CECL compliance while partnering with underwriters, branch managers and bankers to support credit requests.

This role drives process improvements, supervises staff, conducts performance reviews, and ensures SLA targets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Finance preferred.
• 3–5 years Small Business loan or banking experience preferred.
• 2–6 years Supervisory experience (formal or informal) preferred.
• Knowledge of loan support systems and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of the small business loan servicing team to ensure timely completion of tasks/workflows.
• Ensure CECL data points and data integrity across documents.
• Oversee monitoring and controls of core and ancillary systems for audit compliance.
• Develop and implement servicing procedures and updates per guidelines.
• Perform servicing for complex deals in absence of a senior servicer.
• Lead loan servicing, documentation, post-closing, and monitoring tasks.
• Train new hires for consistency and standardization in servicing.
• Perform SOX testing as needed.
• Engage with Underwriters, Branch Managers and Business Bankers to support credit requests.
• Meet or exceed headcount, SLA, and efficiency targets; handle inquiries within SLA.
• Participate in hiring, coaching, and performance management of team members.
• Prepare responses to examiners and audits; reconcile General Ledger accounts.
• Ensure compliance with Northwest's policies and regulatory rules.
