Job summary

Northwest Bank is seeking a Senior Manager for Small Business Loan Servicing to lead the servicing team and ensure accuracy across documentation and CECL data points. You will act as the department's technical liaison, implement procedural updates, and oversee complex deals in the absence of senior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business or finance.
• 3-5 years small business loan or banking experience preferred.
• 2-6 years supervisory experience (formal or informal).
• Knowledge of loan support systems.
• Ability to maximize available technology tools.
• Knowledge of loan products, credit policy and regulatory issues.
• Knowledge of organizational procedures and compliance rules.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask while maintaining quality.
• Efficient communication, time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of the small business loan servicing team to ensure tasks are completed timely.
• Oversee documentation, data integrity and CECL data points.
• Ensure controls over core systems for audits and compliance.
• Act as department liaison to design servicing procedures and updates.
• Provide servicing for complex deals in absence of senior servicer.
• Lead loan servicing, documentation, post-closing and monitoring tasks.
• Train new hires to ensure consistency in servicing small business loans.
• Perform SOX testing as needed.
• Collaborate with Underwriters, Branch Managers and Business Bankers.
• Meet or exceed metrics for headcount, SLA and efficiency; handle inquiries within SLAs.
• Participate in hiring, coaching, and performance management; succession planning.
