Job summary

JPMorgan Chase seeks a Lead Software Engineer in Columbus, OH, to lead Live Site Management and cloud production practices within the Deposits team of Consumer & Community Banking. You will drive reliability, SRE practices, and AI-assisted development to improve code quality and delivery speed.

You will partner with leadership to shape end-to-end AWS architecture, cost optimization, and resilient, scalable solutions across product components, while guiding cross-functional teams in secure

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing cloud-hosted production services and leading Live Site Management practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead Live Site Management and cloud production management practices, including production readiness, change governance, incident response, problem management, and operational risk reduction.
• Define and improve SRE practices, including service-level indicators, service-level objectives, error budgets, capacity planning, and reliability engineering.
• Advance observability across applications and infrastructure through logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, alerting, and automated anomaly detection.
• Drive major incident response, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and durable remediation across engineering teams.
• Evolve the automation and infrastructure-as-code strategy; Mature AI integration across workflows.
