JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Columbus to drive resilient, scalable cloud-based solutions within the Deposits team of Consumer & Community Banking.

As a core technical contributor, you will lead Live Site management, define SRE practices, and advance AI-assisted engineering while collaborating with leadership to ensure secure, reliable product delivery. Formación

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Deep, broad AWS expertise across compute, data, networking, security, and observability with production architecture experience.
• Systems thinking to reason about trade-offs, failures, and dependencies across a product.
• Strategic command of cost, scalability, automation, reliability, and AI integration.
• Hands-on depth to validate and prototype ideas, not just advise.
• Executive communication and rigorous judgment in regulated environments.
• Proven experience leading cloud-hosted production services and Live Site practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Live Site Management and cloud production management with emphasis on production readiness and incident response.
• Define and improve SRE practices including SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, and capacity planning.
• Advance observability with logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and anomaly detection.
• Lead major incident response, root-cause analysis, and durable remediation.
• Establish production health, availability, performance, and resiliency measures for leadership insight.
• Promote enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices and validate AI outputs for correctness and security.
• Shape AWS cloud architecture strategy across product components and optimize cloud costs.
• Advance resiliency strategies including multi-region, failover, and disaster recovery.
• Evolve automation and IaC strategies; mature AI integration in workflows.
• Raise standards across teams and distill complex strategies for leadership.
