HDR is seeking a Senior Site Civil Engineer to lead civil/site design for diverse projects across Texas. The role requires extensive design experience, PE licensure, and strong project management skills.

You will mentor a team and contribute to HDR's employee-owned culture while delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions. Primary locations include Dallas, with opportunities in Tyler and Fort Worth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 10 years of design experience managing various civil/site design projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience in project engineering and project management.
• Demonstrated active participation in an employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan production for general civil on a wide variety of projects, including site layouts, grading, drainage, paving, utilities, and related activities.
• Perform quantity calculations and prepare specifications and contract documents.
• Conduct permitting and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Serve as a technical expert for complex problems and key design decisions.
• Plan and supervise work of medium to large staff of professionals and technicians.
