Bechtel is recruiting a Civil / Earthworks Superintendent to lead field crews on the Rio Grange LNG project in Brownsville, TX. You will supervise earthworks and civil operations, align with Bechtel's safety program, and coordinate with area teams and subcontractors on schedule and budget.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5–12 years of relevant experience, with strong drainage, excavation, grading and concrete placement knowledge and proven supervisory skills for large infrastructure

Qualifikationen

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Working knowledge of structural construction operations, surveying, excavation and backfill, and concrete installation.
• Knowledge of drainage on infrastructure projects, open-cut excavation, trenching, grading and work near sensitive watercourses.
• Knowledge of construction technologies.
• Supervisory functions related to field activities.
• Familiarity with current industry quality standards.
• Commitment to ES&H and Zero Accident safety programs.

Aufgaben

• Direct field earthworks/civil construction operations within assigned area.
• Safety-directed leadership per Bechtel safety program.
• Determine staffing requirements and coordinate plans.
• Schedule work and review subcontractor progress.
• Ensure quality and compliance with specifications and budgets.
• Provide leadership for safety, accidents, and fire prevention on site.
• Coordinate with General Foreman to hire and supervise civil craft labor.
• Prepare input to look-ahead and WFA schedules.
