Job Overview

Krueger Bearings, Inc., a family-owned machine shop located in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Lead Shop Machinist for 2nd shift (Monday - Thursday, 3 pm - 1 am). This role requires hands-on leadership in CNC machining, mills, lathes, and managing daily shop floor operations.

Responsibilities

1. Supervise and direct machinists, providing training and guidance as needed.
2. Ensure quality control and inspection processes are followed throughout production.
3. Make recommendations regarding staffing, evaluations, discipline, and compensation.
4. Produce complex machined parts, demonstrating proficiency with machining centers, turning centers, and reading technical drawings and routings.
5. Maintain strong communication and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive machining experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in operating lathes, mills, cutting tools, and measuring tools.
• Ability to work more than 40 hours per week and on 2nd shift.
