Summary:

The Service Technician II provides maintenance, service, and repair for commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, ice machines, reach-in and walk-in coolers, freezers, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
• Communicate status updates for parts and repairs with support and customers.
• Complete service calls accurately and promptly.
• Audit truck stock to ensure required parts are available.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, and uniforms according to safety standards.
• Meet on-call requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Three years of experience in commercial kitchen or refrigeration repair.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Completion of background check and drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work independently.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills; automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical experience a plus.
• Journeyman License or CFESA certification is a plus but not required.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and soft skills.
• Good driving record.
