Job summary

Eaton’s North America Sales division is seeking a Lead Service Sales Engineer within 50 miles of Houston, TX. The role involves selling Eaton’s electrical services offerings to diverse customers and managing relationships with distributors, end users, contractors and specifiers.

You will train channel partners, become a Subject Matter Expert on services, and deploy growth strategies to drive Eaton’s service lines. This is a full-time, on-site position with travel ~25% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five (5) years of electrical sales, field service or electrical industry experience.
• Possess and maintain a valid & unrestricted driver’s license; ability to travel 25%.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within a 50-mile radius of Houston, TX only.

Responsibilities

• Sell Eaton’s electrical services offerings to industrial, utility, commercial, data center and institutional customers.
• Manage customer relationships and provide sales support and technical expertise to distributors, end users, contractors and specifiers.
• Build relationships with Eaton’s internal operations, general sales force, industrial sales force and product lines to support customers and grow sales.
• Consult with customers in market verticals and provide solutions to electrical problems and pain points.
• Maintain regional responsibility for all services orders and opportunity activity.
• Train and empower channel partners and manufacturers’ agents to sell services to end customers.
• Be the subject matter expert on services offerings and coach the organization in your region.
