Sushi by Bou, opening a new Atlanta location, is seeking a Service Captain to lead service and uphold standards while guiding the team to shape a superb guest experience throughout each seating.

We offer hourly pay plus tips, with additional captain pay for shifts in the role. Ideal candidates bring at least 2 years in fine dining or upscale service, with strong leadership and guest‑focused teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant, including experience leading or coordinating service.
• Strong knowledge of service standards, pacing and sequence.
• Ability to guide others clearly and constructively.
• Decisive, observant and comfortable engaging with guests.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to anticipate service needs and remain composed throughout the shift.
• Hands-on and team-focused leadership style.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Model company service standards and reinforce consistency throughout each seating.
• Maintain an active presence and respond thoughtfully to guest needs or concerns.
• Monitor the pace and sequence of service and make adjustments when needed.
• Keep chefs and front-of-house team members aligned on timing, allergies and special requests.
• Provide realtime guidance and support during service.
• Contribute to preparation, training and team feedback.
• Ensure guest-facing areas and service stations remain ready and organized.
