Job summary

Brundage Mountain Resort in McCall, ID seeks an experienced F&B manager for a winter seasonal role. You will supervise outlets, ensure quality service, and lead staff through busy and slow periods with strong problem-solving and training skills.

Ideal candidates bring at least three years managing in food and beverage, knowledge of applicable liquor laws, and the ability to coordinate scheduling, maintain sanitation, and communicate across teams to meet service standards during peak shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in managing role within the F&B industry.
• Knowledge of county, state, and federal laws regarding food and beverage handling, including liquor laws.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all assigned outlet ensuring excellent service standards are met within work areas
• Work closely with staff on food quality control and maintaining the smooth and sanitary operation of outlet
• Scheduling of staff and monitor assigned staff labor
• Have a clear knowledge of all duties and responsibilities of outlet with the ability to perform each position with clarity and accuracy, and offer support where needed
• Understand the function and operation of outlet equipment with the ability to operate, problem-solve and/or fix when needed
• Ensure a positive work environment with supportive and encouraging managing techniques
• Must demonstrate proven leadership skills and must be able to delegate, effectively train, develop, and motivate staff along with the ability to effectively mentor key leadership positions
• Maintain open lines of communication with F&B Director, management team and staff to ensure operational needs are met and policies are enforced
• Effectively communicates with all levels of employees, guests, and all other outside contacts
