Job summary

Sugarloaf Mountain Corporation in Snoqualmie is seeking a Lead Server to blend hands-on table service with team leadership, mentoring servers, and maintaining dining standards across the floor. This role reports to the Food + Beverage Manager and requires at least one year of proven server experience.

Success in this role looks like a well-trained service team and consistent guest experience during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and leadership skills.
• Diplomatic problem-solving with team and guests.
• Ability to multitask and manage leadership responsibilities under pressure.
• Obtain and maintain a Washington State Food Worker Card.
• Secure a Washington State MAST (alcohol servers) permit.
• Preferred multilingual capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Guide the team in following established procedures and maintaining equipment, tools, and workspace standards.
• Accurately document required records per Boyne and Health Department standards.
• Proactively monitor and report equipment conditions.
• Optimize inventory management through strategic planning, counting, organization, and stocking.
• Lead by example and participate in daily service operations.
• Provide training, coaching, and evaluations to team members.
