Cedarbrook Senior Living is seeking a dynamic Lead Server to oversee daily dining services for residents and guests in a senior living community in Michigan. The role emphasizes professional service, team leadership, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating meal service, managing dining room operations, addressing complaints in collaboration with leadership, and training staff to maintain high-quality service and appearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in dining room operations preferred.
• ServSafe Michigan Allergen Certification preferred.
• ServSafe Food Handlers Certification preferred.
• Senior living or healthcare experience preferred; fine dining experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with executing daily meal services for residents and guests.
• Responsible for daily room services and dining room operations.
• Resolve complaints concerning dining room service with Dining Service Manager and Executive Chef/Director of Dining Services.
• Ensure proper server training and staffing for productivity and standards.
• Maintain professional appearance and uniforms for dining room team members.
• Plan daily dining room setup, sections, service and side-work based on resident meal counts.
• Ensure tasks are completed and schedule is followed; attend lineup and in-service meetings.
• Address deficiencies and safety concerns with maintenance as needed.
