Job summary

Allegria Village is seeking a Lead Server for its Dietary Services team to oversee dining service for both Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing residents. The role emphasizes training, event support, and ensuring safe, high-quality food handling in a welcoming dining environment.

The Lead Server will supervise dining operations, maintain service standards, and collaborate with residents, families, and staff to deliver an exceptional dining experience in a senior living community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred; GED accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive dining and table service to residents and guests.
• Train and assist new servers to ensure they understand dining service standards and procedures.
• Maintain proper dining room setup and ensure dining areas are clean, organized, and ready for service.
• Monitor dining room cleanliness and readiness checklists and address issues as needed.
• Assist with special events and other community dining functions.
• Maintain appropriate tabletop and dining supply inventories.
• Ensure food and beverages are handled, stored, and served in accordance with proper sanitary procedures.
• Follow all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and community food service standards.
• Assist the Dietary Services team with maintaining a positive, professional, and resident-focused dining environment.
• Serve as a knowledgeable and supportive resource for other dining team members.
