Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Lead Server to provide warm, knowledgeable service, lead the front-of-house team, and support management in delivering an exceptional member dining experience. The role emphasizes leading by example, coaching staff, and maintaining high service standards during every shift.

The Lead Server will manage sections, oversee daily service priorities, train new servers, and ensure proper food and beverage knowledge, safety, and responsible service.

Qualifications

• Prior serving experience in high-end settings preferred.
• Experience as lead server, captain, or supervisor is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service required.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to confidently lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Current alcohol-service certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Food-handler certification or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house during shifts and serve as main contact for servers when management is unavailable.
• Assist with assigning sections, opening/closing duties, and daily priorities.
• Monitor dining room for service flow, pacing, and guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, host team, and management.
• Coach and train servers on menu knowledge, wine/beverage service, and steps of service.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate specials and events.
