Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Entry to Part Time Server to provide attentive guest service in a restaurant setting in Atlanta, GA. You will take orders, serve meals and beverages, educate guests on the menu, and ensure accurate billing and payments at the table.

You will also handle side duties, maintain sanitation standards, and contribute to a positive dining experience by applying proper sales techniques and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Servers must consistently assess, anticipate and meet guests' needs and respond quickly without detracting from the dining experience.
• Clear professional communication with guests, vendors, coworkers and management is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tables for meals with linens, silverware and glassware.
• Perform light food preparation such as bread, salads and appetizers.
• Greet guests and educate them about menus, ingredients and cooking methods.
• Inform guests of daily specials and recommend wine pairings.
• Check quality and presentation of food and beverages before serving.
• Deliver food and beverages and handle payments at the table.
• Assist with side duties like polishing silverware and restocking condiments.
