Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans is seeking a Captain Server for Delmonico Steakhouse. You will lead service in an upscale, fast-paced setting, delivering warm, knowledgeable, and personalized experiences while mentoring Servers and assisting management to uphold Delmonico Steakhouse standards.

Ideal candidates bring extensive fine-dining experience, exceptional communication skills, and the confidence to mentor peers.

Qualifications

• Three years of Server experience in upscale or luxury dining.
• Leadership experience as captain or lead server preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and steakhouse service.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in delivering warm, polished, and personalized service.
• Serve as a floor-level leader and resource for Servers and Front of House staff.
• Support management in maintaining service standards and guest experiences.
• Oversee dining areas and ensure steps of service are executed consistently.
• Coordinate timing and flow between Front of House and Culinary teams.
• Maintain strong communication with Chef, Managers, and staff throughout service.
• Assist with VIP and high-profile dining experiences with discretion.
