Job summary

Fairmont New Orleans is seeking a skilled Bartender for Delmonico Steakhouse to craft cocktails, wine, and beverages with exceptional hospitality. You will engage guests, maintain bar standards, and ensure seamless service in a luxury environment.

Role requires luxury‑level bartending experience, English fluency, and flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Training on Delmonico menu and beverage program provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience, preferably in luxury or high-volume steakhouse settings.
• Fluency in English (verbal and non-verbal) is required.
• Current alcohol awareness certification required; TABC certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, polished service in line with Fairmont and Delmonico standards.
• Craft and serve cocktails, wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Know menu thoroughly and suggest pairings and recommendations.
• Open and present wine/champagne and manage proper bottle service.
• Handle cash, credit, and payments accurately per cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and equipment readiness.
• Collaborate withServers, Culinary, and Stewarding for seamless service.
• Support opening and closing bar duties and inventory checks.
