Pratt & Whitney seeks a senior Ethics & Compliance leader to oversee the Engineering organization's ethics program, review and investigate concerns, and coordinate local officers and investigators.

The role develops policies to prevent misconduct, strengthens Speak Up culture, and ensures compliance across engineering operations while traveling to sites as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years in ethics, compliance, or related function; or advanced degree with 10+ years.
  • U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts, programs and projects.
  • Approachable and discrete; sound judgment and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence actions, drive change, and work independently.
  • Strong organizational and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee Ethics & Compliance program for the Engineering organization.
  • Review, investigate, and assess ethics and compliance issues.
  • Coordinate Engineering Local Ethics & Compliance Officers and investigators.
  • Develop programs, policies to prevent and investigate misconduct.
  • Enhance Speak Up culture and ethics training delivery.
  • Operationalize compliance requirements within Engineering.
  • Lead investigations and ensure timely closure and corrective actions.
  • Monitor program performance using metrics and surveys.
  • Travel to Engineering sites as needed.

Job description

  • Lead and oversee Pratt & Whitney’s Ethics & Compliance program for the Engineering organization
  • Independently review, evaluate, investigate and assess ethics and compliance issues and concerns
  • Lead, manage and coordinate Engineering Local Ethics & Compliance Officers and investigators
  • Develop and support programs, initiatives and policies to prevent and investigate illegal, unethical or improper conduct
  • Lead efforts to enhance P&W Engineering ethics and “Speak Up” culture
  • Operationalize ethics and compliance requirements within the P&W Engineering organization
  • Lead and participate in Ethics & Compliance initiatives, teams and committees at P&W and RTX levels
  • Lead, coordinate and participate in investigations of reported complaints and alleged violations
  • Manage investigations through timely completion, closure and corrective-action implementation
  • Support reporting violations to authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate
  • Work with Human Resources, Communications and others to deliver Ethics & Compliance training
  • Maintain communication initiatives promoting speaking up, Code of Conduct awareness, compliance issues, policies and procedures
  • Identify compliance vulnerabilities and risks through processes including Enterprise Risk Management
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans and provide guidance on preventing similar issues
  • Monitor Ethics & Compliance program performance using metrics, focus groups and surveys
  • Continuously improve program effectiveness
  • Travel to Pratt & Whitney Engineering sites as anticipated
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience in Ethics, Compliance and/or related function; OR an advanced degree and 10+ years of experience in Ethics, Compliance and/or related function
  • U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts, programs and projects
