Job summary

Turner Construction Company’s Austin Main division is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead Self-Perform Operations on SPO projects in Austin, TX. You will oversee safety, schedule integration, and labor management while coordinating with EH&S, forepersons, and project leaders to ensure quality and on-time delivery. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and construction know-how.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience performing as Superintendent managing self-perform work or relevant roles.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of EH&S practices and continuous improvement concepts.

Responsibilities

• Plan, forecast, lead, direct, and coordinate SPO staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Develop, manage, and implement jobsite safety program with EH&S.
• Develop JHAs with Forepersons to enable daily pre-task planning.
• Sequence work to meet project schedule and integrate SPO activities into the main schedule.
• Monitor and report installed quantities and progress for SPO tasks.
