Job summary

Turner Construction Company, Columbus Main division, seeks an Experienced Superintendent to lead Self-Perform Operations on SPO projects. You will plan, forecast, coordinate field activities, manage trades, and ensure safety, schedule, and quality align with contract requirements.

You will develop and integrate SPO schedules into the main project plan, monitor progress, mentor forepersons, and collaborate with EH&S and project leaders to maximize production and ensure reliable, on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as Superintendent or related role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of self-perform work and related tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of EH&S practices and safety regulations.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in project management and scheduling concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and implement jobsite safety program in collaboration with EH&S team.
• Develop Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) with Forepersons.
• Foster a workplace with high standards of care.
• Understand project scope, complexity, and contract.
• Sequence work to meet project schedule and coordinate SPO activities.
• Develop and integrate SPO work schedules into the main project schedule.
• Oversee production measurements and adjust staffing to boost productivity.
• Manage hiring and staffing communications for trades.
