Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an Experienced Superintendent to lead Self-Perform Operations (SPO) on a project in Monroe, LA. The role emphasizes planning, coordination, and supervision of trades to meet contract scope, schedule, and safety requirements.

You will coordinate Foremen and field crews, manage procurement and pay applications, and apply lean construction practices such as the Last Planner System to optimize workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of superintendent experience.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specs, contracts and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Sequence work to meet project schedule and integrate SPO activities into the project plan.
• Establish production requirements with Foreman and measure results weekly.
• Plan, communicate, and implement performance of work related to scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control, and staffing.
• Oversee work of assigned trades to promote coordinated project operations.
• Develop and implement SPO safety plan in compliance with Turner standards and safety codes.
• Supervise and develop trade forepersons; contribute to performance reviews.
• Manage monthly estimate of work completed, payrolls, material invoices, and subcontractor payments.
• Assist in bidding work and review productivity for execution.
• Perform constructability reviews and apply lean Last Planner System.
