Job summary

Cook & Boardman, LLC is seeking a Lead Technician to install, terminate and configure access control devices, CCTV, NVRs, and related hardware across new build and retrofit sites. You will lead a two-to-four-person crew under project managers to meet milestones and ensure the highest quality standards.

The role requires OSHA-10 certification, two VMS or access-control certs, and experience with field installations for security systems.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead an installation crew in field projects.
• Strong understanding of low voltage and security system concepts.
• Experience with IP cameras and video management systems.
• Effective communication with IT and facilities teams.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple trades on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite tasking to meet project milestones.
• Install and configure access control devices and electrified hardware.
• Set up access control panels, power supplies and control equipment.
• Install and program CCTV cameras (analog/IP) and NVRs/VMS.
• Oversee cable pathways and installation quality.
• Ensure safety and adhere to site standards and documentation.
