Job summary

Manatal is seeking a Security Technician to perform field installations of access control, CCTV, and related low‑voltage security infrastructure. You will guide junior technicians, coordinate with subcontractors, and deliver reliable systems from day one.

You will read plans, explain systems to customers, and work independently or with a crew in commercial settings such as schools, hospitals, and offices. OSHA 10 certification and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting access control, CCTV, and security camera systems.
• Familiarity with Lenel, Brivo, CCURE 9000, Genetec, DMP, Avigilon brands.
• Ability to read security drawings and communicate system design to customers and field crews.
• OSHA 10 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Support field teams and coordinate work alongside subcontractors.
• Install access control systems, CCTV, cameras, paging devices, readers, and door hardware.
• Troubleshoot low‑voltage wiring and comms to ensure proper access and system reliability.
• Read blueprints and scope documents; explain plans to customers and installers.
• Run and dress structured cabling and terminate RJ45s at patch panels.
• Maintain documentation and perform copper testing.
