Job summary

Allied Universal in Ohio is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor for manufacturing on a full-time basis. The role supervises a shift, coordinates delivery of services, and acts as liaison between site supervisor, account manager, and security officers.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare clear written reports and logs.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures.
• State/local licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record where applicable.
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol testing may be required.
• Intermediate computer skills for client-site wireless tech.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and professionally.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on a specific shift.
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and officers.
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment guidelines.
• Prepare reports and logs in a neat, legible format.
• Handle crisis situations at the client site with composure.
