Job summary

Middleton Place in San Diego, CA is seeking a Lead Security Officer to oversee daily security operations across client sites and ensure exceptional service and operational efficiency.

You will partner with the Director to manage scheduling, staff development, client relationships and site compliance, leading by example and delivering outstanding customer service. This hands-on leadership role requires flexibility for evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid California Guard Card.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Complete training modules within first month.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Adapt to established procedures and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall quality of service to assigned accounts.
• Develop officers through training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Improve processes, service quality, and efficiency.
• Ensure all shifts are filled.
• Review daily activity and incident reports; coordinate with management.
• Monitor equipment condition and maintenance.
• Notify Director of field issues for timely follow-up.
• Enforce company policies and conduct disciplinary actions as needed.
• Foster a positive working environment through feedback and recognition.
